Elder Park is located between Adelaide CBD and North Adelaide on the banks of the Torrens Lake / River Torrens. Remember to plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time to travel.


PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Public transport is the best way to get to QBE Insurance Carols by Candlelight, as many roads are closed off throughout the event.

Festival Plaza Tram

Hop on the new Festival Plaza Tram which will take you right up to the Elder Park doorstep!

Free City Connector Bus

Take advantage of the free City Connector bus, offering a hop-on and hop-off service to the City and North Adelaide linking popular city attractions, shopping, dining and key destinations. Bus route 98A and 98C connect North Adelaide with the city, and 99A and 99C connect the inner-city areas not serviced by the tram. Services operate every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends.

DRIVING

If you are driving, please note the road closures. King William Road (adjacent Elder Park), from North Terrace to Victoria Drive will be closed from early morning Saturday 15th December to early morning Sunday 16th December 2018. The Riverbank Footbridge between Elder Park and War Memorial Drive will be closed from 8:30pm to 11.30pm on Saturday 15 December 2018 for the staging of the fireworks. PARKING

Owned and operated by the City of Adelaide, UPark has a range of convenient parking options to ensure you get the best seat in the house.

Book your $7 parking at Upark Topham Mall – just a short walk from Elder Park – or drive in after 6pm for a $8 Flat Rate. For guaranteed parking, book online at least 30 minutes in advance.
